ProKASRO Mechatronik GmbH was founded in August 2000. Its name is an acronym of the German for "progressive sewer rehabilitation robotics" (progressive Kanalsanierrobotik). The portion of the company concerned with the development, manufacture and sales of the sewer refurbishing robotics of D.T.I. GmbH was taken on via an MBO. D.T.I. GmbH began in 1989 with the development of a sewer-milling robot. At the time of the takeover in the year 2000, we exclusively developed and produced sewer rehabilitation robots.

The company philosophy of becoming a full-line sewer rehabilitation supplier with in-house developed and manufactured products has been realised. We offer UV linear curing technology, TV inspection systems as well as flushing vehicles.

New products are developed in-house; existing units are continuously developed and comprehensively tested. Products are then manufactured and assembled component by component in our company-owned factory. Mature systems are introduced onto the market. Efficient channels of communication and integrated work processes guarantee the highest level of reliability of our products.

We are a medium-sized company with healthy growth. We serve customers in Germany, the rest of Europe and, increasingly, worldwide.

Since its founding in the year 2000, ProKASRO Mechatronik has registered continual growth. The company began that year with 30 employees and now counts over 100 to its ranks. This development was also reinforced by a new building, which was completed in 2006 and which provides 3,300 m² of production space on a plot of currently 10,000 m².
