With the KASRO 2 component injection sealing system leaking branch pipe joints as well as cracks, leaky collars and shards can be injected. The injection sealing system consists of a unit for the branch pipe joint sealing and a unit for the crack and collar injection. The systems are positioned using the KASRO self-propelled unit in connection with the KASRO rotation unit.
The KASRO 2K injection sealing system consists of two material tanks, each with 200 l material. The filling of the material tanks as well as the extraction from the material tank are performed using an electronically controlled 2K pump. An 80 m long 2K hose is connected to the material tank which supplies the system in the sewer. The material is mixed in the injection sealing system shortly before it is injected into the leak. The PU material optimised for the system then begins to react within 2 minutes. Therefore it is hard within a short period of time and the encasement can be retracted again.
To ensure that the resin reacts the same in different ambient temperatures, the material tanks as well as the hose drum with the 2K hose are integrated into an air-conditioning box that provides a constant material temperature in the summer and the winter. The electronic pump control (flow control) provides the user all data such as pressure and flow amount visually and acoustically. Therefore you can always exactly control how much material was used at which leak.
The 2k branch pipe injection sealing system possesses three cameras, one in front of the system, one behind the system and one in the balloon pot. The camera in the balloon pot shows the user, how the branch pipe and how far the material in the branch pipe is pressed in. This allows the operator to exactly control this process and avoid pressing behind the balloon. For the crack, shard and collar injection there is a camera in front and behind the system.
The balloon size in the 2K pipe branch injection sealing system is adjusted to the pipe branch diameter. There are three available balloon sizes (80, 120 and 160 mm diameter) for the branch pipe joints from DN100 to DN200. This ensures that after the branch pipe injection the constriction of the branch pipe to the injection point does not exist any more.
