KASRO working robot 4.0 is a self-propelled work unit and is intended exclusively for work inside sewer pipes with diameters from DN200 to DN600. The device is remote-controlled by means of the 100 metre long combination cable. This cable supplies the KASRO working robot 4.0 with electrical and pneumatic energy, and transmits the video signal of the camera at the work unit to the monitor in the operator's workstation. The tool head of the working robot 4.0 can be moved in the degrees of freedom rotationally around the axis of the pipe (right/left) and radially towards the pipe wall (up/down). The axial movement, parallel to the axis of the pipe (forwards/backwards) is possible by means of the forward/backward option. All movements can be performed simultaneously. This makes it possible to mill diffcult geometry, for example a saddle of a pipe union. As an additional feature, the tool head can be tilted 90° by means of the 4th axis. This makes it possible to equip the milling motor with longer extension shafts when working in small pipe diameters. The milling depth in pipe unions is vastly increased by the 4th axle.
