The KASRO working robot was developed for work inside sewer pipes with diameters from DN200- DN600. It can be adjusted to the diameters with different wheel attachments, so that the tool head is always positioned central to the pipe axis. The tool head of the robot permits three-dimensional work, because the movements such as rotation, up/down, forward/backward as well as tilting can be performed simultaneously at controlled speeds. To avoid the basic frame of the working robot from moving, it can be mounted to the pipe wall using air pads. This property ensures precision operation. The working robot is equipped with a 340° swivel colour camera with remote and close-up focus. The KASRO working robot can mill, grind, fll and position sealing plugs. It is mainly used to remove obstacles such as misplaced pipe connectors, roots, encrustation and deposits as well as opening connections after short pipe or inliner installation. The individual components are controlled using a 100 m long supply line (combination cable).
